  • It's a great time to be an Arrow!

Aplusbig In the statewide accountability ratings released by the Mississippi Department of Education, CPSD is once again an A-rated district and all our schools are A-rated schools!

In a district-by-district comparison, we also moved higher. Five years ago, CPSD was the sixth-highest scoring school district in Mississippi. In the years since, we have moved up to fourth, then third and now ... we are the second-highest scoring school district in Mississippi!

Our overall score improved six points - from 202 last year to 208 this year. This is a HUGE accomplishment and is a direct result of the hard work and dedication of our faculty, staff, students and parents. We are the highest achieving school district by far in the Jackson metro area, and second only to Pass Christian statewide.

Thank you for choosing the Clinton Public School District for your child's education, and for your continued support of our schools! We work hard to provide excellence in education at all grade levels. It is no small feat to earn an A rating, and we are proud of all our great teachers and students!
